This is literally one of the best English lessons out there! I was always confused by the different meanings of the past simple and the present perfect, and this video really has solved my problems :D! While a little fast to me (I rewound it a few times), this lesson covers many good examples and explanations- it is quite helpful, especially when you mentioned the common mistakes made by English learners, I realized: yup, that's me! I didn't even notice it before learning it from you. A massive thank you!

I have been practicing english for almost a year, I'm still practicing. I have practiced on my own, I have watched few series,I've jotted down most common vocabulary. Later, I have realised that practicing the language in phrases and sentences are the effective methods. Since then, I have been practicing with tenses, phrases and sentences. And now, I hope that I will get the result which I have been hoping for years.

With some Verbs ( claim, seem ,appear, promise expect, hope, need, would like, ) one can use the perfect infinitive instead of the present perfect with the same meaning. For instance: She claims that she has seen him before = she claims to have seen him before.

I was wondering if I might dare to ask you a question ? Could I just use present perfect with that keys below?
